About me and this blog

Hello and welcome to Kerberos’ blog.

Who is Kerberos?

I’m a tech-obsessed male in his 30s.  My background covers both finance and computer science.  I’ve been a Mac user since the tender age of 14 and despite having used Windows (since Windows 98) and Linux (mostly Ubuntu), I strongly prefer the Mac.  I currently work for a Web startup called Adulmec.

Why Kerberos?

No, this has nothing to do with the kerberos authentication protocol.  In college, I used to play first person shooters in a clan.  Everyone had catchy names; I picked ‘Kerberos’ — I thought it was cool, you know, the three-headed hellhound guarding the gates of hell.  Sort of described my actions during CTF games.  Infantile?  Maybe, but it stuck and I’ve been using the name online since.

Why this blog?

Does the world need yet another blog?  Probably not.  I’ve you have found this page, you are probably either my mother or Google latched on to some esoteric article that I wrote.  You may find some of my posts relevant if you are interested in the World of Web development or design.  I always appreciate comments and feedback.  This page is not meant to be a solicitation for customers, but my firms also builds Web sites for customers, so contact me if you have an unfilled need.
